This variety is a cold tolerant and relatively slow bolting plant, suitable for growing in mild climates. First cutting can be harvested in 25-30 days in summer and 40-45 days in winter, after sowing. Three to four cuttings and 6-7 cuttings can be obtained in summer and winter, respectively. This high yielding variety is very popular in Asia. Young broad leaves and stems have excellent aroma flavor, excellent for salad and soup cooking.
