Malai is a new hybrid small type cucumber. Fruits have waxy light green skin with white flesh and small core. Cylindrical frutis are 11-13 cm in length and 4 cm in width and 120 grams in weight. This cucumber has long shelf life, good for long distance shipping and marketing. Plants are vigorous and very productive, setting fruits 35 days after sowing. This variety is suitable for high land planting.
